All things are born of The Sacred Divine Feminine. The recurring theme in my work is reverence for Ntrt Het Heru, The Sacred Divine Feminine, Creatress of all living things. At the core of my art is this force of Spirit-at-Work.
My art serves as a spiritual regenerator and ancestral-memory stimulator. I want to connect the viewer to the rich heritage of my Afrakan Khamit ( Ancient Egypt ) and Native Afrakan American ancestors, and to creative visual and tactile delight.
It is time we remember The Holy Mother of Creation. It is with HER gifts of natural organic materials, fiber and clay, inspired by nature, the seasons, the colors of night and day; through the works of my hands that I am able to create beauty and give expression to the sacredness of all things.
