The Afrakan Khamites of the Hapi (Nile) Valley were masters of weaving intricately designed and functional textiles filled with color and symbolic meaning.
To honor my rich textile legacy, I have named my hand weavings KHAMIT CLOTH. KHAMIT CLOTH
WEAVINGS are handwoven for women and men, one thread at a time, from the vibrations of the earth...natural fibers of cotton, wool, silk, rayon, and highlighted with metallic yarns. Prestige cloth enhanced with ancient divine symbols of ancestral power, Khamit Cloth is handwoven with intricate brocade Ankh patterns, a sacred Afrakan Khamit symbol of eternal life.
