Khamit Nit Men: Khamit Cloth Weavings
CONTEMPORARY WALL CARPETS
Woven by hand, one thread at a time.

I am a textile artist.  For over forty years I have been creating textile art with the healing rainbow of colors reflected in the yarns I select, and symbols you require to adorn your beautiful body temple, and to grace the spaces you call home.

I design and hand weave Khamit Nit Men: Khamit Cloth Weavings:  one-of-a-kind contemporary tapestry art:wall paintings,  bed throws, and Kaitha Het Heru Couture.

I have named my signature textiles, Khamit Nit Men: Khamit Cloth Weavings, to honor the foremost ancient Khamit (pre-Egypt) weavers, and the Khamitian Diety, Nit (Neith), the Guardian of Weavers.

My one-of-a-kind hand weavings are inspired by African, Native American and other indigenous cultures, and nature.

Made in the America.  I hand weave each piece on traditional looms, one a 45" floor hand loom.  Each textile is finished from start to finish in my studio.

The distinction of the Khamit Nit Men: Khamit Cloth Weavings is determined by ancient symbols; my water color sketches; and colorful yarns: hand dyed 100% virgin wool Rio Grande dyed yarns, cotton, silk, selected hand spun yarns,  and metallic yarns.

The Khamit Nit Men: Khamit Cloth Weavings are based on plain weave, warp-faced, and inlaid patterning techniques.
